Let's Build Adela a House!

Picture During this trip, I was introduced to Adela. She is a hard working woman who has been residing in Costa Rica for over 21 years from Nicaragua. She worked long and hard hours gathering money to buy the small piece of land where she currently calls home, La Carpio, a small village at the entrance of a garbage dump that is known for being notorious and dangerous. As Rebecca explained, the impact was greater when I saw with my own eyes. Adela is not just a woman in need of a home, the problem is this: she lives in a concrete and corrugated tin box filled with cracks that leans to one side reminiscent of the leaning tower of Pisa. Her home could crumble at any moment.

She doesn't know if she will have any food to feed herself, much less two teenage children by an act of pure love she took in as her own. She has given these children a family, love and a place to call home. Rebecca took on this assignment to build Adela a house, will you please help build Adela a house?

This woman is filled with God's unconditional love that she freely pours out onto others. Could you please help us build her a home, that she may see for herself how God hears prayers and answers them through our ability to collaborate from around the world.
